Intoxicating instrumentals |
Are their any recomendations for shows or even individual tracks that you really get lost in. Stuff for bedtime or reading or to just get completely tuned in on.
Stuff like Dark Star or some of the stuff from Cairo?

Most anything from American Beauty. I'd actually like to have Brokedown Palace played at my funeral.

Dark Star's are my favorites to go to sleep too. The Dark Star from 4-8-72 always pulls me deep into it. Also from RFK in '73 and Capitol Theater in '71 are great. Any Terrapin Station is good.

Re: Intoxicating instrumentals |
I have to concur with 8-1-73, when we were coming down after a show, that Dark Star was the jam that we most often played for winding down and falling asleep, it's the perfect tranquilizer

Re: Intoxicating instrumentals |
Hello everyone! I just got turned on to this site. WHAT A GREAT PLACE!! Thought I'd throw my 2 cents in on this one...I often throw in Greyfolded to wind down. I have it on tape,(Darkstar on 1 side and Crashes on the other) and I usually doze off b4 the tape flips. Anyone else ever give this a listen?
peace!

Re: Intoxicating instrumentals |
Welcome to the site :)
Never heard that release - forgot all about it. I will assume it is good from what you say. Sounds interesting.
